The superquadras have rhythm thanks to Amadeu Coimbra, Ernest Boeckmann, and Antônio de Góis. Their 1950s perforated brick (Co-Bo-Gó) shades and ventilates in a mesmerizing variety of geometric designs. Residential vernacular never sounded so poetical.
